PowerStretch® stretch film is one of the most popular brands of bale wrap. It has been specially formulated to provide exceptional stretching properties, resistance and durability to withstand the elements.
PowerStretch® is manufactured by a process of 5-layer blown co-extrusion using - polyethylene Dow Plastics to ensure quality. The automatic thickness control during production guarantees an excellent uniformity in film quality.
PowerStretch® is currently used under all types of climates. In the freezing winter temperatures of Norway, in the relentless wind and rain of Ireland and in the hot sunny regions of Italy and Spain.

CHARACTERISTICS
Manufactured using the highest quality raw materials available in the market: Providing optimal mechanical properties for stretching, resistance and reliability.
Blow extrusion Technology. Offering an ultra-resistant film when stretched both in transverse and longitudinal direction.
5 and 7 layer co-extruded blown films. Much better resistance for the same thickness compared to a 3 layer film.
Excellent adhesive strength. To keep air and water-tightness between the layers of film and achieving an optimal silage fermentation.
Minimum gas permeability. Special barrier formulation to reduce CO2 loss and O2 intake.
Improved elasticity. Minimizing breakings and tearing during the pre-stretch process of the film on the bale wrapper.
Superior elastic memory. Bales remain tightly packed for up to a year after wrapping.
High resistance to perforation. To withstand piercing dry stalks and angular corners of square bales.
Automatic thickness control. A 25 micron (=0.025 mm thickness) should not have weak spots and must be of uniform thickness throughout.
Good opacity and colour density. Offers greater protection from sunlight thus improving fermentation.
UV. Stabilized 1 year. Can resist outdoors exposure up to one year in southern Europe or in forage areas of Australia.
Recyclable high-resistance plastic or cardboad cores. Weather resistant, without collapsing as occurs with some cardboard cores.
