FRENCH MARIGOLD BONITA BOLERO
The French marigold "Bonita Bolero" (Tagetes patula) is an annual plant that reaches 15 - 40 cm in height. It forms regular, round pillows that are richly strewn with mahogany-yellow blooms that consist of velvety petals. They bloom from June to October. French marigold leaves excrete a distinctive aroma. These plants are mostly used on border and flower bed edgings and in containers. The plants secrete special substances into the ground that repel earth nematodes. Therefore we recommend to grow them among other plants, particularly vegetables.
